I am majoring in the Teaching of Mathematics with an ESL endorsement, alongside a Spanish minor. My plan is to become a high school teacher in the Chicagoland area, and help students in schools of need. During my first semester here at UIC, the biggest lesson I have learned is that no matter what type of question you may have, if you are unsure who to contact, contact someone you DO know, and they can put you in touch with someone who can answer your question.  A piece of advice that I recommend for other students is to study when possible, even if there is no exam/quiz coming up. Studying a little bit definitely helps, and your future self will thank you.

Activities that I like to do for fun is playing video games, binge watch anime, and snap pictures of my beautiful cat.
