College Access and Success Program Partnerships

Through formalized partnerships with nonprofit organizations, the Academic Center for Excellence serves as a central office that houses the transition coaching coordination program.

The original partnership framework was currently comprised of the following external partners: Bottom Line, Noble Charter Network, North Lawndale College Prep, and OneGoal. The Office for the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Affairs (OVPUA) intends to learn how to best partner with different types of organizations from the pilot’s evaluation, therefore, the OVPUA chose partners with variance in organizational criteria.  Since then, the Office has expanded to eleven total community partnerships in order to strengthen support for external success coaches and UIC students.
